The kids loved it.  Can't wait until next year!  Everyone was very friendly, loving and caring.  It was a great camp that I hope they continue to enjoy for the years to come.

FALL WORK FELLOWSHIP WEEKEND SCHEDULED

Fall Leaf Rake Border

October 31--November 2, 2008

Work Fellowship Weekend is an opportunity to give back to the Lord through the giving of your time and talents to assist Camp Susque prepare facilities and grounds for the winter season. It is hard work, but rewarding as the sense of accomplishment at the end of a hard day's work consumes you. Of course, there is also the fellowship with old friends, the embarking of new friendships, worship of our God and Creator amidst the beautiful mountains that surround Camp Susque along with all the great food.

Join us Friday evening for fellowship and snack and get settled into your lodge for a good night's sleep. Rise early for a home cooked breakfast Susque-style and set out on your days work. Lunch will be served followed later in the day by a family-style dinner that will be sure to warm your belly. Saturday evening gather around the mountain stone fireplace to enjoy devotions, fellowship and warm apple dumplings!  The weekend ends Sunday morning following worship and a hearty brunch served in Hemlock Hall.

To reserve your spot, email the camp office at

Those with special skills should call Gary Barclay, Facilities Manager, to inquire if specialized tools are needed

Susque Duck Found!

Susque Duck found in amazing search effort by Family Camper.
duck

If you haven't already heard the news, you must have been hiding under a rock... or at least that's where the Susque Duck was hiding.  After nearly a year of searching, sending out K-9 rescue teams, and scouring the Internet and Wikipedia for clues, the Susque Duck has, in what turned out to not be a case of amazing irony, finally been found.   A Family Camper located the Duck near the archery range, and proceded to bring it back to home base.   There is much rejoicing and celebration as the beloved Susque Duck has finally, at long last, made a return trip home.   Like the prodigal duck that he is, we have accepted him back into the family.
